This article is a very brief summary of my doctoral thesis, which realized a possible ethnography of practices and (s) mode (s) of gay life, aiming to discuss, in particular, the limits and diacritical marks and cross existing in comparison between the issue of aging and the problems of male homosexuality, in view of the socio-anthropological ethos of mature men as they age they do or have sex with men in the context of homoafetivas and sex of the City of Soure (Marajó / Pará) . The interweaving of themes, from the generational cohort of gay men and (too!) aging process, took into account both the homoerotic landscape, as the spaces of gay sociability in a social-cultural context and non-metropolitan islet of a city Amazon Marajoara.
