This paper discusses a recurring proposition in the psychology field, namely that for its diversity, the work of the psychologist is necessarily more ethical than technical. In order to understand that proposition we go over to the emergence of psychology in its paradoxical relationship between knowing and knowledge. The network approach helps us to avoid dichotomizing ethical and technical dimensions by considering the participation of non-human in the knowledge and the science. The dialogue with cognitive science allows us to face the problem of the technique in psychology, pointing to an approach to ethics as embodied action in opposition to a cognitiverepresentative paradigm.
