FILLUS, Michel Alexandre    WAHBA, Liliana Liviano. "Playing with dreams": therapeutic technique for children based on the dream context. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. []. 2022, 42, 102, pp.26-38. ISSN 1415-711X.

This article aims to present a brief, playful and group intervention technique, called Workshop "Playing with dreams", for children, based on the dream context. This is an excerpt from the author's doctoral research, which aimed to evaluate its effectiveness in children victims of violence, targeting at the psychological adaptation of the study participants. The theoretical foundations of the intervention are presented and an illustrative example of the application of the resource in children victims of violence, whose symbolic productions, expressed in verbalizations and drawings, constituted material for the analysis of graphic / plastic aspects and an interpretative elaboration using clinical reasoning and the amplification method according to the Jungian hermeneutic perspective. An illustrative example shows in the therapeutic field of group play indications of the construction of resources favorable to psychic development and attenuation of traumatic effects. The technique aims to expand the available psychotherapeutic approaches, with an emphasis on the self-regulating conception of the psyche applied as a group. It's use stands out due to the possibility of inserting the psychologist in contexts that involve pressing social needs, especially when there is neither access nor conditions for individual psychotherapies and in socio-educational environments, in order to strengthen the support offered and favor the emotional regulation of children.
