This article aimed to investigate the psychoanalytic treatment of psychosis in the light of the psychoanalytic concept of transfer. Considering the treatment of psychosis as a field of action of psychoanalysis, it was deemed necessary to delimit the specifics involving such practice. The starting point to be considered is that psychosis is treated throughout the work in view of the Lacanian psychotic structure and that the treatment was seen under the theoretical aspects of psychoanalytic perspective. A literature review was conducted on transfer management as a key point in the treatment of psychosis. This work is illustrated with fragments of a clinical case.
