Couples' Uves are stories that weave diverse experiences. Every couple has an exclusive love story. Considering Sternberg's (1999) theoretical model, the following study was undertaken to understand the meaning of the love stories. In this study. participants were 16 persons (9 women and 7 men), who wrote the story of their relationship. The stories were analyzed according to the categories of: context, actors, topic, type of story and end. Results demónstrate how significant love stories are, what sustains their conceptualization of love, where affection and physical attraction are important elements to initiate a stable relation.
