OLIVERIA, Vera Barros de. Spatio-temporal construction in human development: a structural analysis. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2020, vol.40, n.98, pp.12-21. ISSN 1415-711X.
This article addresses the structural character of spatio-temporal construction in human development. It starts by presenting rhythmic skills and behaviors based on an evolutionary theoretical framework, which emphasizes the need for psychological research on the subject, following in its broad lines the embryo of the evolution of human cognition, through the analysis of the action of prehistoric culture in its spatio-temporal patterns. It highlights the presence of awareness of the own territory in this evolution. Approaching the child's development, it brings considerations about the relevance of ludic in the construction of their spatio-temporal notions. Next, it presents Kurt Lewin's topological structural view and illustrates it by means of a brief analysis of the free play of an 18-month-old child and her early spatio-temporal organization.
