Abstract

SOUZA, Audrey Setton Lopes de. The drawing as a psychodiagnosis instrument: reflections from psychoanalysis view. Bol. psicol [online]. 2011, vol.61, n.135, pp. 207-215. ISSN 0006-5943.

The purpose of this paper is to consider the importance of the drawing expressive elements for the construction of the professional clinical reflections, in order to understand the graphic projective tests. The drawing, same as a dream, has recourse to the pictorial elements, in order to benefit the unconscious manifestation, using apparently insignificant elements, that facilitates control desarmation and a link for the manifestation of the unconscious desires and conflicts. Deliberating about this articulation we suggest an approximation of the drawing in its formation process, in which, the white paper must be filled, using the pencil as an expression instrument. The expressive elements are an excellent datum for this kind of approach. We suggest considering the drawing as a possible way to dialogue with children, introducing the idea o that the child's graphic production, as like the dream production, is primarily a result of psychological work and that any search for meaning will only be achieved if it could be inserted into a dialogue and a certain posture of listening.

Keywords : Psychodiagnostic; graphic and oniric production; drawing and language.
