Abstract

ABRAO, Jorge Luís Ferreira. The vicissitudes of the child psychoanalytic clinic in the 21st century: technical considerations in the brazilian context. Bol. psicol [online]. 2017, vol.67, n.146, pp. 1-12. ISSN 0006-5943.

Supported by the hypothesis that the transmission of psychoanalysis and the social and cultural transformations of the twentieth century reflect both on the forms of manifestation of psychological suffering as in the management of the technique, this paper aims to demonstrate the technical specificities of the child psychoanalytic clinic today. Adopting the historical method, the research entailed a literature review about the topic in national journals between 1996 and 2010. Two frontiers of the theoretical and technical development about child psychoanalysis were identified in Brazil: the intervention practices in mother-infant relationship and the analysis of patients in whom the primitive states of mind prevail, of which autism is a paradigmatic element. Based on these practices, technical changes were introduced and have been widely consolidated as trends in child psychoanalysis

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; child; technique.
