Abstract

The aim of this article is to argue for the use of Sandplay and show it as an innovative metodological resource to studying the mute zone of social representations, mainly of teachers‘ social representations bacause of its significance to pedagogical training. The use of Sandplay was strengthen on the principles that guide it and on the professional and research experiences of the authors of this paper, so as on the theoretical conceptions of remarkable specialists. It will be also stressed the potencial of Sandplay linking social representations and the construction of subjectivity. Thus, it is demonstrated the contributions of the improvement of researches of social representations of teachers to necessary changes That might happen to the ways in what these professionals are educated nowadays.
