Ismael Nery was a brilliant Brazilian painter who died of tuberculosis when he was 33 years old. Due to his mother’s madness and way of living, he may be considered the son of a modern Medeia. He wrote poems in which he showed his extempore thoughts and sexuality, besides have painted beautiful paintings. Both poems and paintings reflect the most mysterious paintings in Brazilian art.
