Abstract

FONSECA, Maria Carolina Bellico. Psychosomatic phenomenon (FPS): between the psychoanalysis and the medicine. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2007, n.30, pp. 95-101. ISSN 0100-3437.

The author starts recognizing the importance of the Medicine and the Psychoanalysis in the approach of the psychosomatic phenomenon (PSP), to make a reflection concerning the differences between these fields of knowledge. Of a side, the medical field, more scientific and objective and of another one, the psychoanalytical field not normative, that has in view the desire and the unconscious subject. The first one avoids any kind of error and the second deals with it. In the author’s opinion, these differents knowledges would be allied on the treatment of the subject that, beyond the disease, also suffers with the anxiety.

Keywords : Psychosomatic phenomenon (PSP); Medicine; Psychoanalysis; Body; Discourse; Listening.
