Abstract

MURIBECA, Maria das Mercês Maia. The occult desire in the language of the butterflies. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2008, n.31, pp. 129-136. ISSN 0100-3437.

The fragments of the analysis of the clinical case presented here tells the history of a man who lives in conflict with his homosexual desire from fear to lose his mother love and his father respect. This conflict induces him to a deep depression at the same time where a loving relation with obsessive tones lives. When telling this case in we support it in Freud’s teaching, but especially in Jean Laplanche who works the Freud’s concepts, collating its contradictions, always in the intention to create a new spiral that opens other ways to think. Laplanche understands that human is, in excellence, a  self-taught  and self-translator person. Each important moment in his life opens the possibility to revise his own  previous translation that provides now a general translation, less repressed, with ways renewed for a new reading of himself.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Homosexual desires; Theory of the generalized seduction and translation of the repressed.
