Abstract

DARRIBA, Vinicius Anciães et al. Some evidences of the ethical foundation of psychoanalysis at ‘The Psychotherapy of Histeria’. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2009, n.32, pp. 171-180. ISSN 0100-3437.

In the last chapter of Freud’s ‘Studies on Hysteria’, named ‘The Psychotherapy of Hysteria’ - the author, as he problematizes the medical clinical parameters, outlined alternatives, which established analytical practice. His new standing - one of rupture and newness - created a new ethical criterion that is studied at this paper. Since this standing, the clinic of hysteria aims to difficulties and limitations, not as an obstruction to the psychoanalytical method’s application, but as an ethical choice of Freudian desire’s command.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Ethics; Clinics; Psychotherapy of hysteria; Freud.
