This paper describes the references of the humanization programme that has been developed in São Lucas Hospital in Sergipe by the design of Psychoanalysis and the Art’s marriage. It refers to the Tiradentes University´s project, "Humanization and health promotion at the general hospital: a psychological perspective", developed in São Lucas Hospital, and the over mentioned hospital’s project, "Psychology in the hospital: a daily humanization proposal". Both of them are from my authorship and coordination and they were developed day by day with the contributions of many professionals and students. In digression, the paradigmatic challenge from the humanized hospital faces us: the human being, much more than only cells and biochemistry, can be recognized in their artistic and language productions.
