Abstract

The author uses the movie “The curious case of Benjamin Button” to attest the metaphor for the living angst, which is expressed in the attempt to control time. With the inversion of the life cycle the resemblance to ones’s trajectory towards death becomes obvious. The intention of deceiving incompleteness and death through passion realizes nothing else than the confirmation of the ruling of time and the obstacle of castration.
