This paper calls into question the diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia or catathymic crisis used by forensic psychiatrists to describe the murderer. Then it applies to the justification of the diagnosis of schizoid personality disorder and a tentative explanation of the special role of the internet in mass murder cases. The author discusses the concepts of imaginary and narcissism. The sexual traumas deduced from the murder’s religious fundamentalist and misogynistic creeds. Relevant problems about the murder’s personal history - prenatal history, beginning of life and early childhood - that show data to a psychoanalytical interpretation. Schizoid personality characteristics as described by Fairbairn used for the understanding of the murderer’s psyche.
