Abstract

CASTILHO, Pedro Teixeira. Some thoughts about the psychoanalysis object of Winnicott and Lacan: from the transitional object to the little a object. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2012, n.37, pp. 127-141. ISSN 0100-3437.

This work searches the construction of Winnicott of his transitional object. Following this issue, this work will be led to the object little a developed by Jacques Lacan. The legacy of these two conceptions is the lacanian reference to Winnicott. The French psychoanalyst opens one possibility for this comparison because both objects don’t belong either to the mother or to the child. We will attempt showing that this object is not part of anyone. Then we will determinate this object’s clinical character.

Keywords : Object a; Transicional object; Impossibility; Loss; Extraction.
