The present paper has as its objective to explore an approach of thinking over the subject of femininity. It has as its core the subjects’ building experience on its subjectivation process. Starting from a psychoanalytical approach it tries to remake the path of the Freudian theoretical system over this issue. The present paper advances conflicts, deadlocks and ambiguities of the Freudian thought. Also punctuates some contemporary perspectives about the matter. It tries to enlighten how this essential question to psychoanalysis has been discussed. A bibliographical survey was chosen and used for its leading quantitative and qualitative references about the theme.
