According to Freud, what we can expect from a finished analysis is the victory against the impediment of loving and working, wich are the pillars of Civilization. Freud uses the word Work not only for activities made by men, but also to activities made upon men. The concept of Work goes beyond the one limited by Economics. The importance of Work is so that it is considered as an index of mental health for human beings and to use to think about life and cultural productions, along History. Today, the lack of Work is the origin of social discontents. We live in a risky society that makes possible to get ill and to die because of Work. Competitiveness leads to distrust and threat face to peers, moral harassment being each time more frequent. Psychoanalysis can interfere in this situation through Psychoanalysis in Extension, favouring the speech, in its ethical and political dimensions.
