Abstract

FONSECA, Valéria Wanda da Silva. About the relations between the psychic impoverishment and material impoverishment. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2013, n.40, pp. 113-117. ISSN 0100-3437.

The objective of this paper is to present research about the role of psychoanalysis with the Brazilian population that has arisen from poverty, with low educational levels and which is not familiar to the psychoanalytic discourse. We updated questions about the practice of psychoanalysis: what are the contributions of psychoanalysis to this investigation? The treatment of this relationship requires an experienced analyst, knower of its craft. It's not a practice for beginners. At that clinical setting the freudian concerns are with the academic formation of psychoanalysts and the treatment itself. Those conditions need to be offered at psychoanalytical institutions and or state financed as it would be at a public project to combat tuberculosis.

Keywords : Aplied psychonalysis; psychoanalysis and poverty; psychoanalysis in Brazil.
