In January 27, 2014, the tragedy in the Santa Maria’s nigthclub Kiss has completed one year. Despite the 242 casualties and the devastating aftermath to many other youths, the legal suit still lingers in the ins and outs of the Courts with jurisdiction over the trier of fact. This paper comes about as a by-product from the reflections upon this event and seeks to track down the origins of such a tragedy.
