Abstract

MALLMANN, Cleo José. Jealousy: from normal to pathological. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2015, n.43, pp. 43-49. ISSN 0100-3437.

A feeling that runs constantly through the relation of a couple, lovers or married ones, it is noticed as in everyday social relations as in clinics. This paper intends to distinguish between normal and pathological jealousy, characterizing each level of this feeling with its particularities and illustrating it with clinical cases. The analysis is mainly founded on Freud, supported by Kernberg, Melanie Klein, Fenichel and Pittman.
