Abstract

CARLAN, José Renato Berwanger. Connections on a net: the threads that weave life, time and psychoanalysis. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2015, n.44, pp. 117-122. ISSN 0100-3437.

How to think about time, today, when it ceases to be marked by history and by the internal world, reversing into a succession of moments and of acts which are averse to the logic of the neurotic? In the same sense, how to think about the unconscious if in Freud's view there is no psychical without memory or history? The vicissitudes of the drives, distributed on a network, seem to have their connections constituted of threads of reminiscing direct images of the thing or its partial derivatives with little fastening, and not any longer by reminiscences and remnants with investments also connected to the word, to the other, as a metaphor for relationship, for bonding. If acting, as an obstacle to the analysis, is a challenge, what can we say today, when the process of halting, remembering, and elaborating becomes more difficult?

Keywords : Network Connections; Time; Life; Psychoanalysis.
