This article aims to present the category of “modern neurosis”, syntagma used by Lacan only in the text: “Aggressiveness in psychoanalysis” as capable of embracing a diversity of suffering which, as they do not find their place in theorizing and in psychoanalytic nosology, they are incorporated in the transfer’s neurosis and psychosis limits, or considered from the logic expressed in the diagnosis of American psychiatry. Thus, this work is part of an epistemic and nosological reflection , which aims to highlight various subjective methods accepted by the current psychoanalytic practice, from consider the category of “modern neurosis” as the category irreducible transfer’s neurosis.
