The contrast between law and limit, line and contour, individual and singularity. The first of each pair deriving from a patriarchal reading of Freudian and Lacanian concepts and the second from a feminine based view grounded on Winnicott’s ideas. A work by Farnese de Andrade interpreted as showing these concepts and some of the patriarchal family characteristcs and consequences.
