Abstract

The text summarizes the history of CBP, since its foundation in 1956, up to its renomination in 1971 and its presence at the psychoanalytic scene till the current days. It also raises the subjects discussed in former Congresses and conferences. Then the author speaks about the themes that will be worked more deeply at the thematic tables of the XXII Congress of Circulo Brasileiro de Psicanálise, in Salvador, Bahia.
