Abstract

In this opportunity we will present the thesis that the “general formula of madness”, as elaborated by Lacan, necessarily implies the critique of mental disease. It is tried to show so much that this critic makes series with objections raised by diverse knowledges as it maintains a particularity linked to the originality of the object of the psychoanalysis; at the same time, his ignorance leads to theoretical deviations and clinical impasses already present in Freud.
