The recent participation of psychoanalysts at the Brazilian electoral process once more brought the polemics about the psychoanalysts participation at the public scene. Or, better speaking, brought the question about our place and function at society. This paper was written in the heat of the above mentioned scenario, aims to bring some ideas, albeit provisory ones, about this reality
