The thematic approached by the author is supported in Das Unheimlich (Freud, 1919) translated as The Uncanny (Standard Edition) and has diverse meanings such as strangely familiar, disturbing, sinister, disquieting, and, more recently, unfamiliar. The film’s narrative Our Struggles tell from family life composed of father, mother and small children. Belgic-French production with very capable actors and a good plot. This drama film reveals the effects of the unconscious over the politics of a family and a firm. Paradoxically this film produce satisfaction and great displeasure when approaching to the core of itself, waking up an vigorous feeling of strangeness and great perturbation, leading to think in death instinct, anguish, a frightful encounter with the real, the non-all, the structure of the impossibility of being otherwise except through the repetition of suffering from losses. However, there is a logical turning at the story’s tragic plot, pointing out to the experience of psychoanalytic treatment and a way how to manage with the logic Real of the ‘there’s no such thing as a sexual relationship’.
