Abstract

CORREA, Carlos Pinto. Quarentine, the good it does to us. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2020, n.53, pp. 91-94. ISSN 0100-3437.

Quarantine is a legal invention. At first it would be free time favoring the enjoyment of thinking with no compromise. In fact, a new way of thinking whose purposes are not clear enough. With the assertive goals removed, quarantine is a condemnation to review the errors humanity must take responsibility for. The author recalls that the proposal seems like an unimaginable outbreak and even its non-real impact is surprising, requiring people to try invented evaluations. There is also a need to live it without maddening despair or apathy, to face a tough and threatening community, anticipating the solidarity that will be demanded.

Keywords : Quarantine; Understanding; Time; Life experience; Social change.
