The text reflects on the condition of the human being when faced with the need to seek meaning in the encounter with oneself at a time when external circumstances require recollection and restrict contact with others. The proposed reflections and questions explore in Winnicott the fundamentals on the constitution of subjectivity and intersubjectivity, on the need of human beings to inhabit their bodies and their internal objects, to make use of defenses that activate creativity and the expression of the spontaneous self.
