Abstract

SIQUEIRA, Janes Teresinha Fraga. Psychoanalysis on Freud's approach. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2020, n.54, pp.161-171. ISSN 0100-3437.

Freud did not think of education, as his research phenomenon, in particular. However, in his writings there are concepts that focus on education and pedagogy. I found relevance in his ideas. It couldn't be different from Freud. His reflections, even though sparse as a particular phenomenon, relate to education with human development, as an important way for society to reach another level of civilization. Between the lines, his writings demonstrate understandings supported by psychoanalysis, which can collaborate a lot with education. Freud proposes that personal psychoanalysis be part of teacher training. We can reflect that the psychoanalyst needs to undergo training and that in itself is also education.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Education; Pedagogy; Formation; Human development.
