Seeking to think about the baby's psychic constitution in times of pandemic, this article proposes an interdisciplinary dialogue between psychoanalysis and psychomotricity, using, as guiding lines, the contributions of the Psychoanalytical Observation of the Mother-infant Relationship, method by psychoanalyst Esther Bick, and the approach proposed by pediatrician Emmi Pikler in the care of infants in institutional care.
