This work, presents a related theme to Dentistry, and its relationships with the individual. Bruxism is a TMJ dysfunction (disorder temporo-mandibular), where there is the grinding movement of the teeth, causing consequences in individuals. Many cases are seen, in the world today, and during the coronavírus pandemic there was a significant increase due to stress. Many symptoms are reported by the the patient, with numerous unsuccessful or ineffective cases. With the knowledge of psychoanalysis, dentistry expands and improves the relationship with the patient, knowing the importance of the oral cavity, providing better care.
