The purpose of this paper is to reflect on playing, considering primarily Donald Winnicott's postulations regarding the creativity and its origins as well the location of cultural experience. Considering both theory and clinic psychoanalytic, the essay also considers the mirror role of mother in face of the common distress and individual experience encountered by children, teenagers and their families, due to the disconcerting pandemic horizon.
