Abstract

The present work proposes to think briefly and from a didactic approach the evolution of psychoanalytic theory, presenting the main concepts that, over the years, have been maintained and developed in order to further deepen the psychoanalytic studies. The main psychoanalytic figure, without a doubt, is Freud and, based on the concepts he traced, other scholars became interested and sought to deepen or complement his theory. Therefore, this article aims to briefly present the initial concepts of the theory, as a way of illustrating the evolution and importance of psychoanalysis for the development of studies on the human psyche.
