The notion of alien, foreigner and stranger express disdain and rejection for what is considered strange, barbaric and unwanted. Prejudice is the unconscious part of the society’s ideology that justify discrimination, separation and exploitation of a group by another. Racim and hate towards the foreigner mean the imposibility to develop without devaluing, excluding and hating those who are different. Placing certain features on the other comes from the need of protecting the coherence of the subject’s own image. The racist hate derived from the narcissistic imagination is followed by the hate for the culture, the customs, the traditions and the religion of the foreigner. All in all, there are libidinal forces attached to the other, which allow the integration of foreigners to societies. Together with the development of modern racism, there is a reversed discovery of great importance. The myth of Adam establishing a unique origin for all human kind, is supported by ethnology, the unity of the human race is thus exposed in its diversity.
