The text approaches Freud’s considerations over the uncanny (Unheimlich), recognizing its importance and reserving this theme a special place inside psychoanalytical theory and practical clinical experiences. The writing is illustrated by anthropological works from Levi Strauss and Roger Bastide, and sentences extracted from clinical sessions experiences.
