The paper deals with aspects of experiencing time in mental life, its continuity/discontinuity, permanence/unpermanence, unconscious atemporality, raising questions about acceleration and condensation of time in the contemporary world, under the primacy of the present. It relates this to the time of the psychoanalytic session, virtuality of the transitional space and considers conditions for resilience today.
