Abstract

DELOUYA, Daniel. Between the letter´s design and the invisible voice and body of word. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2009, vol.32, n.48, pp. 104-112. ISSN 0101-3106.

The relation between the letter, the word and the psychical constitution is treated through examining the drama in Bernhard Schlink’s novel The reader (1995) as represented in the recent film by Stephen Daldry (2008). We try to articulate the dialectics between the original condition of the human being, its primary love and narcissism and its ascension into a differentiated self.

Keywords : Movement; Representation; Letter; Tenderness; Differentiation.
