The column ‘Fale com Ela’ from the weekly magazine Revista da Folha, part of the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, is put on the couch. The author briefly approaches a series of historical considerations about the feminist columns in the country’s newspapers and magazines. She considers the cited column as an exercise of Extended Clinic, and of airing Psychoanalysis, managing to have an interpretative effect with the use of the psychoanalytic method in this type journalistic material. The author then takes a column as a clinical case, demonstrating the type of dream and literary thought that involves the construction of a response to a reader’s question, analogous to the thought used in clinical psychoanalytic work.
