Giusi Baldissone is one of the literary critics who seek out new perspectives of reading and interpretation that provide an alternative to those already established in the world of literature. In this volume, from which we selected and translated the first chapter, he deals with the issue of vision in writing, which spans the centuries and genres of literature.
