This paper tries to convey an idea on how Heidegger deals with the issue of language in his later work. For this, it presents the first chapter of his book On The Way to Language, entitled “Language”. According to Heidegger, “Language speaks”, and this dimension is shown by listening to what is spoken in Georg Trakl’s poem “A Winter evening”.
