The author exposes in a succint way, the route of the understanding of artistic creativity, from Freud to Bion and Meltzer, along with many other authors who addressed the theme. She aprroaches, subsequently, the relation between the dream and the art work. In the case of the poetic production, she proposes a poetic state of mind in which the poet gives shape to emotional experiences, turning them into symbols/poems, and she illustrates this process through some poems.
