The article discusses the meanings of chaos mediated by the contemporary analytical clinic from a perspective that privileges the notion of a continuous movement of disorganized division. The text moves on two fronts: microscopically, thinking about the analytical action as a possible manager of the chaos in an analytical session, and macroscopically, thinking about psychoanalysis as a field of knowledge that could also help in organizing the chaos.
