This text was published in the literary supplement Livres of the french newspaper Le Monde on Oct 21 2011 as a tribute to fifteen years of death of the writer Marguerite Duras. At that time, the publisher Gallimard was releasing the complete works of the writer in the french collection Bibliothèque de la Pléiade.
