Resumen

BARBOSA, Marielle Kellermann. Always connected, subjectivity in the contemporary world. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2013, vol.35, n.55, pp. 89-101. ISSN 0101-3106.

The objective of this paper is to establish a dialog between the knowledge from Psychoanalysis and contemporary thinkers, such as Baudrillard and Žižek, through the analysis of a behavior that has become more and more usual: some people living their everyday lives connected through electronic devices. The social networks are focused in this study, as well as three main issues: the reason why people started to share information on the Internet, the subjective meanings that lay upon this new social behavior and the reality status that pervades this virtual communication.

Palabras clave : Contemporary world; Virtuality; Loneliness; Consumption; Sharing.
