Abstract

BARROS, Cesar. Body in action: space of intimacy, the artist's body, our body. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2016, vol.39, n.62, pp. 77-91. ISSN 0101-3106.

The purpose of this study is to show the singularity of the Joseph Beuys' Aktions, works wich involved the presence of the artist acting directly in their executions. Beuys performs a passage from the body of the work for the exhibition of your own body, causing this to be a constituent part of the work. Thus, from the works to be exhibited in the showcase, passes to the exhibition itself and interaction with the materials before produced and exhibited in galleries and museums. Therefore, I did a path that passed by two sculptural works in the traditional exhibition in the showcase and three Aktions made by Beuys, which he developed with the participation of animals: a rabbit, a horse and a coyote and several elements that were explored throughout his work as fat, felt and various objects and drawings. His body highlight.

Keywords : Body; Performance; Aktion; Beuys.
