Abstract

PORTO, Tiago da Silva. A incômoda performatividade dos corpos abjetos. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2016, vol.39, n.62, pp. 157-166. ISSN 0101-3106.

The troubling performativity of the abject bodies Starting from Freud "Das Unheimliche" and from Julia Kristeva's conceptualization of abject, this article proposes a reflection about intolerance, postulating the existence of an anxiety prior to the constitution of any object, which stems from the tension between the Ego and the abject. It presents a comprehension of intolerance not triggered by difference, but by similarity. And from this tension felt by the subject, the article analyzes its unfolding into a political sphere: the impasse between normalization and performativity of the abject bodies.

Keywords : Abjection; Performativity; Intolerance.
