Abstract

LEVISKY, Ruth Blay. Intimacy's expression in the links; interferences of the culture. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2017, vol.39, n.63, pp. 41-58. ISSN 0101-3106.

This paper discusses intimacy in today's culture and how it is expressed and organized in the complex network of existing links. Reflecting on the relationship between the mental constitution of the subject and the way affect is expressed in real and virtual culture raises the question whether what we call intimacy between subjects in real life today has any equivalent in virtual relationships? How can we achieve a space of intimacy in the analytical relationship that creates conditions for exploration of the intimate? The lyrics of many Brazilian pop songs today do not address the subject of family, but instead touch on social issues, misunderstandings and breakups. Where are the family and today's amorous links represented in the creative minds of these artists and contemporary culture?

Keywords : Intimacy; Culture; Links; Objective reality; Virtuality.
